Levi: "This is Happy Thorn #3."
[Levi's big on #s nowadays. He knows Star Wars #1, #2, #3, Indiana Jones #1, #2, #3]
Dad: "What happened to #2 and #1?"
Levi: "#2 was the blue bear, and Kara lost it somewhere. #1 was my Build-A-Bear Happy Thorn that I lost somewhere."
Dad: "That's the one you lost with Grandma in palm springs." (Dad looks over at side of room, he sees a blue bear in corner.) "Who's this?"
Levi: (excitedly) "Oh! Happy Thorn #2 is found!"

Straight out of Levi's very active imagination! We were at the Build-A-Bear workshop, and waiting for him to come up with a name, and then he just came out with that, and it was instantly a hit with him. I wasn't sure about the metaphorical implications of snuggling with a happy thorn, but he didn't seem to be worried about that at all!!
Too cute. Love the play by play...especially the whole "Dad looks over and spots a blue bear" part. It made me chuckle imagining what went down.
So glad that Spiky thorn, er, Happy Spike #2 was found!
